RN, Registered Nurse, Nurse Position Summary: Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Recruiter: Jennifer Lawless || jlawles2@covhlth.com || 423-492-5011 Responsibilities: * Correlates patient history and support systems within hospital care. * Assess learning needs of patient and family. * Develops and initiates teaching plan, involving patient and family. * Recommends interventions. * Evaluates plan of care. * Resolves problems regarding less complex issues without oversight or supervision. * Member of established active hospital committee or subcommittee with 75% participation in meetings. * Demonstrates willingness to precept new employees/students as directed. * Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. * Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications: Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority. Minimum Experience: Must possess at least one (1) year of professional experience. Licensure Requirement: Valid Tennessee license. CPR required.
