Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:

General Accountabilities: 

* Manage Daily operations to include but are not limited to maintaining kitchen equipment, such as ovens, freezers, grills, food processors, etc. Ensuring they're in working order to prepare food quality and safety.  

* Delegates task to Sous Chefs, Specialty Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Line Cooks. 
* Coordinating with the team proficiently during all meal preparation and services. 
* Planning the food menus as per restaurant guidelines and seasonal availabilities. 
* Working in coordination with the kitchen staff. 
* Monitoring the quality and quantity of food that is being served to guests. 

* Maintaining the kitchen cleanliness and safety. 
* Maintain relationships with suppliers. 
* Oversee menu development, revision, ordering, and inventory control. 
* Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency of products to the guests.    
* Knowledge of cooking techniques such as cutting, dicing, baking, roasting, braising, grilling, and a high level of skillet/sauté work. 

* Supervises the preparation and cooking of various food items for banquet events. 
* Develops and implements creative menu items for restaurant and banquet events.  

Qualifications:

Qualifications:  

* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); 2 years of previous high-volume culinary leadership role and/or culinary degree.   
* Ability to Multitask and problem Solve. 

* Excellent Leadership and Motivational Skills. 
* Strong knowledge of all kitchen operations.  
* Ability to stand, lift, bend, stoop, and throughout duration of shift.  
* Excel both independently and as part of a team.  
* Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.  

* Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
