Responsibilities:

This opportunity will require flexibility because the Union Drivers primarily cover senior drivers. Drivers will start at the bottom tier, allowing them to perform various tasks like Direct Store Deliveries, Shuttles, and Pick-ups. They will work both day and night shifts with potential layovers; there are no fixed schedules. 

A KeHE Driver is responsible for operating a Tractor-Trailer vehicle, observing all road, highway, and DOT guidelines, in a safe and efficient manner, and transferring merchandise from the distribution center to retail customers over an assigned geographical area. 

Qualifications:

* Prior delivery route experience is preferred
* Minimum 12 months of current, consecutive CDL Class A commercial vehicle driving experience
* Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required
* Must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 80 pounds

 Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:

* Have the ability to communicate well with internal and external customers and management.
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Have the ability to follow safe working practices, as instructed, and the ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.

 Physical Requirements:

The employee is frequently required to stand, climb, bend, and walk. May need to drive between stores as per assignment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to both a typical office/store environment and all outside weather conditions.
