CDL-B Straight Van Driver - Lyon Station, PA

				Overview:

East Penn Manufacturing is seeking dedicated Class B Route Drivers to join our private fleet in the Berks and Lehigh County areas.  Deliveries will be within a 300 mile radius out of Topton, PA.

Average Potential First Year Starting Salary: $75,000 per year plus expenses paid

Salary ranges are determined by mileage, stops, and return products.

Plus a $2,500 Sign-On/Retention Bonus! 

What seperates East Penn:

* Run routes designed to get you home every weekend and potentially multiple times during the week.
* Assigned tractor - no slip seating.
* Paid expenses include meals, license and endorsement renewals, DOT medical card, company provided cell phone and safety equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Overnight travel required 3-5 nights per week.
* Operate a diesel or gasoline powered straight van (up to 46,000 lbs GVW) or smaller vehicles when required.
* Deliver and pick up freight while engaging with customers to ensure outstanding service.
* Comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations, including hours of service and vehicle inspections.
* Accurately log hours using an electronic logging device (ELD).
* Conduct pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections.
* Operate vehicles safely and legally, utilizing all onboard safety features.
* Complete company paperwork (manifests, bills of lading, claims, trip reports).
* Load/unload freight using electric pallet jacks, liftgates, or dry vans.
* All trips are scheduled with return loads.

Qualifications:

* Class "B" Commercial Driver's License with Endorsements for Air Brakes and Hazmat (endorsements not required prior to employment but obtainment required during probationary period) Training provided.
* Literate with good communication and math skills.
* Customer focused professionalism.
