Responsibilities:
This position will require workers to perform maintenance duties utilizing hand, power tools, and job site cleanup on projects as necessary. Customer service skills are a must. In addition, job duties will also include repairing/replacing system furniture components, replacing and other minor component replacements. Work as part of a team or independently. Required to document work completed, issues relegated to work activity, and detail material list needed. Operates a non-CDL box truck to make deliveries and pick-ups utilizing various material handling equipment.
Pay Rate: $34.81/hourly
Work Model: Onsite
Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Performs job site cleanup after job completion of projects as necessary. In addition to utilizing various hand tools and moving equipment to pick up and deliver material.
* Experience operating a non-CDL box truck or demonstrating the ability to operate independently within 90 days.
* Uses various hand, portable, and standard measuring tools.
* Assemble and disassemble various systems furniture as required by fixit ticket or work order.
* Load /unload, deliver, pick up, and stage material for installation.
* Disposal of material in designated container.
* Verify that work is performed to the customer's satisfaction and that the appearance of the space is returned to its original or better than before the work was performed.
* Certified or be able to maintain certification of Material Handling Equipment.
* Plans, organizes work, and meets all deadlines. Able to do a variety of tasks in any single day.
* Respond to emergency as required.
* Inspects and diagnoses problems to determine corrective repairs.
* Perform on-call and preventive maintenance duties as necessary.
* Performs periodic stock inventories and prepares material requisitions for replacement items as required.
* Operates Government or Company-owned motor vehicles and/or other equipment.
* Performs various lower classified duties such as (but not limited to) file maintenance, workspace cleanup, maintaining warehouse space, and telephone answering as required.
* Assists and supports other trade groups and/or department staff in daily operations as needed or directed.
* Adheres to the established Chugach safety and personnel policies and standard operating procedures.
* Ability to work alternate shifts as required.
* Performs a wide range of construction activities and other duties as assigned.
