Responsibilities:

In keeping with the Marian Regional Medical Center health care philosophy, the invasive Cardiovascular Technologist is proficient in the preparation of the patient for all procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology and EP Laboratory. The incumbent is a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) with training and scrub experience and training in both Cath and EP Labs. The Tech is also responsible for the maintenance, inventory, stocking & sterile preparations of all equipment, parts, catheter devices & room preparations for each procedure.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

* 1 year minimum cath lab and interventional radiology experience with both scrub and monitor
* Graduate from an approved Radiological Technology Program
* Advanced training or licensure equivalent to ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiolography (CVT)

Preferred Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years current hands-on x-ray and scrub experience within an interventional EP Lab
* ACLS-AHA
* RCIS
* Current ARRT license
