Overview: Terra Consulting Group, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is currently seeking a CADD Operator to join our Telecom team in Columbia, MO! Our professionals have extensive experience in the telecommunications industry from site acquisition to modification upgrades and new site builds. We understand the needs and challenges in providing the telecommunications industry cost effective, time sensitive service to sustain the continuously evolving needs of tower owners and telecommunications carriers nationwide. What sets Terra Consulting Group apart is the availability of an extensive range of services offered in-house for both site acquisition and engineering. These capabilities reduce the need to outsource specialized services enabling us to meet critical timelines and budgets. Responsibilities: * Assist in the setup of plans by analyzing sketches, notes and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings. * Work from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays and isometric drawings including digital terrain models and surfaces. * Conform to the company's standard CAD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout. * Work with numerous project teams to help in project completion. * Coordinates details and dimensions between drawing sheets. * Prepare project exhibits. * Address assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency is increased. Qualifications: * High School Diploma/GED is required; Associate degree or a certificate from a technical school, preferably in AutoCAD is preferred. * Increasing proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D including, but not limited to, knowledge of layers, dynamic and regular blocks, scale factors and paper space settings. * Increasing proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer, TopoDOT, and other related software. * Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. Requires a pre-employment drug screen.
