Responsibilities:
As GFT continues to grow and expand, we are seeking a CADD Manager to be at the forefront of digital delivery and to support our Transportation group at our Denver, CO office. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Denver, CO office.

What you'll be challenged to do:
As a CADD Manager, you will step into a role that stretches your technical skill and your ability to shape how digital delivery supports safer roads, stronger infrastructure, and more reliable public services across the region. You will help advance projects that touch daily life in Denver and beyond, from transportation improvements to essential facility upgrades, and your work will influence how communities move, connect, and grow. This role places you in a position where your decisions guide project outcomes and set the tone for quality and innovation, giving you room to expand your expertise, mentor others, and carve a clear path toward broader leadership opportunities as GFT invests in your long-term development.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Create, maintain, and edit plans from concept through final construction drawings for dam rehabilitation projects, site plans for wastewater/water / transportation facilities.
* Maintain structure and organization of project CADD files and CADD standards
* Perform general administrative assistance by maintaining project plans
* Develop project and presentation graphics
* Develop 3D surfaces and/or models to generate construction drawings and estimate quantities
* Perform shop drawing submittals reviews
* Provide assistance with field inspections
* Train and mentor growing Technician staff
* Perform QC checks to ensure documents meet client needs
* Develop CADD Standards for projects without client Standards
* Hiring and development of technician team
Qualifications:
What you'll bring to our firm:
* Technical School Degree or an Associate Degree in drafting technology
* Experience with constructing 3D surfaces or models required
* Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D required
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a team setting or as an individual solely working with the project engineer
* Must have current Driver's License
* Capable of lifting 30 pounds and traversing steep slopes and rough terrain.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $135,000; Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
