TT Electronics' Mexicali facility houses 65,000 square feet of office and advanced manufacturing. With a large workforce of 126 employees, this site operates in multiple shifts with cellular production lines and 13 production cells. This site is ISO9001 certified and manufactures an array of technologies including variable and fixed resistors, EPS sensors, and trimmers.
Responsibilities:
Introduction
Ensure that the purchased goods, materials and services meet technical specifications (ii) evaluating supplier performance and resolving supply issues.
To be a successful sourcing specialist, you should be able to develop efficient purchasing solutions and support management with the development and implementation of purchasing strategies. Ultimately, an outstanding purchasing specialist should have excellent communication skills, be an analytical thinker
Key Responsibilities
* Liaising with sourcing specialist team and maintaining strong supplier relations.
* Evaluating goods and suppliers according to key business criteria.
* Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.
* Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
* Work closely with quality on evaluating the quality of purchased goods and resolving shortcomings.
* Support management and sourcing with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
* Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and purchasing records.
* Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company.
* Work closely with SIOP Team to determine procurement strategies and inventory levels.
* Maintain costs in complete updated purchasing records and pricing in the system.
* Inventory reporting monthly and forecasts.
* Monitoring inventory levels and determining purchase needs.
* Order confirmation and acknowledgement in SAP.
* Address to sourcing price variations, MOQ changes and support as needed.
* Open Order Report Management.
* PPV Reporting and Forecasting based on purchase volumes.
* Maintain Purchasing Info Records (PIR).
* Annual Standard Costing Roll Ups.
* Work with the Sourcing Team on PPV, cost reduction strategies annually.
Qualifications:
Core Requirements
* Education/Certifications:Bachelor's Degree in administration, logistics, supply chain, engineering or related field.
* Experience 3+ years of proven experience in purchasing.
Desireable Skills and Experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office word, powerpoint, excel, and outlook.
* SAP
* Power BI
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Team player with strong organizational skills.
