Specifically, our team are responsible for: production planning, supplier management & procurement, new product introduction, inventory control and logistics & trade compliance. Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer - Global Operations! You will collaborate with a complementary team who are accountable for both strategic and tactical supply chain activities. This role focuses on supporting management reports & solutions for supply chain operations metrics and business performance. The role also provides hands on tactical support for Direct Procurement. The position would suit a hardworking team worker who is seeking an exciting career in a dynamic Supply Chain environment
This role will follow a hybrid work arrangement, requiring on-site attendance at Wexford three days a week.
Responsibilities:
Role / Responsibilities
Purchasing
* Support the supply chain team with all purchasing related activity
* Issue Purchase Orders in line with MRP and project timelines
* Ensure purchase order pricing is accurate and per PIR.
* Purchase order line exception management
* Monitor vendor on time delivery in line with agreed delivery dates
* Identify supply constraints and escalate accordingly
* Management of all day to day aspects of Vendor relationship
* New vendor set up for new and transitioning products
Other
* Materials representative on assigned projects within Waters Technologies Ireland Ltd.
* Prepare & present reports as advised or requested on as needed basis
* Maintain KPI as advised by Manager
* Adherence to all applicable regulatory compliance, SarbOx & corporate governance requirements
Qualifications:
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Business or equivalent primary degree, IIPM Certification and/or ASCM Certified
* Previous supply chain experience is required
* Experience of implementation and maintenance of outstanding standards in Supply Chain processes
* Knowledge of SAP or equivalent MRP system
* Experience of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
What you will receive in return:
Working 39 hrs per week, with fortnightly pay. 22 Days holidays, plus bank holidays and an additional day per every 5 years service.
