Overview:
Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper systems requirements specifications. Lead, guide and advise less experienced Business Systems Analysts. Competent to work at the highest functional level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environment. Responsible for directing and monitoring the work of team members. Responsible for quality assurance reviews, project completion, and user satisfaction.
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of five years experience in a healthcare (insurance, managed care, hospital or pharmacy), required.
* Certified in EPIC Clinical, Access or Revenue Data Model, preferred.
* Additional Skills (required):

* Expertise in leading data management and analytics projects independently
* Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries using PL-SQL, T-SQL or similar
* Experience with cloud-based data and analytic tools like Databricks, Azure, AWS, GCP or similar
* Proficient with healthcare data including EPIC data models and healthcare workflows
* Expertise with extracting and manipulating data in data warehouses and strong understanding of data modeling techniques
* Expertise in statistical modeling using R, Python or similar
* Expertise in Visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau or similar
* Expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving data quality and performance issues
* Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
* Ability to work under deadlines and heavy workloads
* Capable of handling multiple tasks independently
* Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
