Business Reporting Analyst Intermediate

The Business Reporting Analyst Intermediate seeks input from senior level analysts and will interact with the management and other team members in work efforts pertaining to engineering analytics and business intelligence (BI) solutions. They will analyze large-scale data sets to derive business insights and identify potential issues, engineers, designs, and validates analyses using quantitative methods and statistical software, and collaborates with different teams in order to design, develop, generate, and validate self-service reports, extracts, and visualizations. Provides input into BI requirements and solutions to support operational activities, works closely with leadership to understand current and future needs, and is required to solve complex issues. Serves as a subject matter expert of the operational data, analytics processes, and data utilization in his/her business unit and has a passion for data and BI and analytics.

Qualifications:

* Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, computer science, health informatics or similar quantitative field, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
* Experience:
* Minimum two years in reporting and/or analysis role Healthcare experience, required.
* Healthcare, medical group specific experience, preferred.

* Licensure/Certification:
* Additional Skills (required):
* Knowledge of healthcare environment as it relates to physicians, medical group practice and hospitals.
* Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and take direction from/support multiple leaders.
* Demonstrates effective interpersonal communications skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong listening abilities.
* Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills.
* Possesses a qualitative understanding of data and can provide actionable recommendations.
* Ability to streamline and automate processes.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with ability to create, develop and structure information in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint) and/or other Microsoft platforms/applications.
* Ability to work well with others, building and maintaining strong relationships.
* Ability to be a team player, contributing to a positive working environment, and demonstrating initiative, ownership and accountability.Intermediate knowledge of statistics, quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. Possess a qualitative understanding of data and can provide actionable recommendations. Ability to effectively gather data from various sources for reporting and analysis. Ability to engineer solutions and processes based on design requirements and minimum specifications. Ability to effectively utilize data and system tools available. Ability to streamline and automate processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to coordinate interdepartmental activities, balances multiple priorities, and ensures quality standards. Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPivot, PowerBI/PowerView skills. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.

* Additional Skills (preferred):
* Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Business Objects Universes, WEBI, Information Steward, and Lumira
* Exposure/experience to SAP Predictive Analytics, SAS, R Studio, MatLab, or other scientific programming language
