Job Summary:
The Business Process Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business process automations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires an understanding of business operations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Short Term
* Ability to connect with all levels of employees both project based, and office based, to develop a relationship with the stakeholders and conduct brainstorming session to identify and map out business processes.
* The ability to put themselves in the end user's shoes and provide solutions that address their needs
* Develop flow charts from brainstorming sessions documenting forms, decision points, actions, and other relevant items.
* Review and agree with the stakeholders on a defined process map
* In conjunction with the stakeholders identify potential optimization opportunities while maintaining a positive relationship with the stakeholder
* After specifying a process and opportunities, the ability to program and test a system using Power Automation tools
* Work with stakeholders to create a viable system
* Conduct and coordinate a rollout of systems based on Power Platform / Power Automate best practices
* Based upon lessons learned, modify and improve processes Establish a priority of endeavors that the company will take on maximizing impact to end users
* Create a support model for issues for end users and citizen stakeholders
* Reduce burdens on all employees by implementing easy to use systems that reduce overhead and drive efficiency
Long Term
* Become the primary point of contact for the company on Process Automation including
* Establish standards, templates, and common elements so that end users' experiences are consistent and organized logically across all geographic locations and PSG's
* Coordinate multiple citizen developers in their local efforts
* Keep abreast of the Process Automation landscape understanding vendor roadmaps, other systems, reviewing upgrades, and charting a strategic vision for future growth
* Ensure that standards are enforced for citizen developers including documenting programming so that as people rotate out of the company, the processes can be maintained
* Establish and administer budgets and schedule associate with project so that they stay on track, delivery when promised, and on budget
* Serve as the primary Business Process lead to work with other groups in the company
Education and Experience:
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in process mapping and data analysis tools (Visio)
* Experience converting and automating workflows in Power Automate (DPA required, RPA is a nice to have), Power Apps (Canvas + Model Driven Apps), Office 365, Power BI, MS Forms, and SharePoint.
* Experience with Microsoft Lists, Teams, and Box is desirable
* Additional systems experience with other systems such as Quickbase, Monday.com etc is beneficial
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience managing projects, including planning, execution and monitoring to ensure process improvements are implemented successfully.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
* Ability to program and test systems using automation tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
* Certification in Business Process Management (BPM) or related fields.
* Knowledge of project management principles and practices.

Business Process Specialist Required Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience with process mapping and data analysis tools (Visio).
* 3+ years of experience in programming Power Apps (Canvas, Office 365, Power BI, MS Forms, and SharePoint).
* 3+ years of experience managing projects to achieve successful implementation of process improvements.
* Bachelor's Degree - or 8 years equivalent experience plus a minimum of 7 years prior relevant experience.
