				Overview:

The Business Manager is accountable for the supervision, direction, and implementation of methods and procedures involved in accounting of revenue.

Responsibilities:

* Implements, interprets and maintains work standards and procedures that are in compliance with corporate and departmental policies, governmental regulations and various regulatory agency requirements. Assists in the development of these work standards and procedures.
* Supervises the employees in an efficient manner by planning, organizing, and monitoring all activities of the department to obtain maximum results.
* Assures that appropriate and accurate records are prepared and maintained on a timely basis.
* Makes recommendations for employment, promotion, disciplinary action, and termination of employment. Evaluates subordinates on a regular basis. Assures that employees receive orientation and in-service training.
* Supervises aging of accounts receivables as required by controller.
* Supervises the preparation of billing, posting of daily charges and adjustments to patients accounts.
* Supervises preparation of daily bank deposits and preparation of daily income register.
* Coordinates activities with collections, admissions, utilization review, medical records, and other departments to facilitate billing and receipt of payments.
* May supervise activities of credit and collections supervisor if assigned.
* Maintains current and accurate accounts receivable file.
* Accounts for cash receipts from dietary, admissions and other departments where applicable.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree Degree in Business or Health Care Administration Required
* 4-6 years in a business office.   Preferred
* Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.
* Working knowledge of business intelligence.
* Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills.
* Working knowledge of digital literacy skills.
* Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
* Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills.
