At SoftwareOne, we empower organizations to secure their environments and mitigate risks. As a Business Development Executive for Security, you'll drive growth by helping clients adopt advanced security solutions and strategies.
This role focuses on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and driving adoption of security solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their challenges and deliver solutions that safeguard their business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Drive sales of Microsoft's Security solutions including: Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud, Office 365), Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), Microsoft Purview (Compliance & Data Governance), Microsoft Entra ID (Identity & Access Management), Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Management)
* Develop and execute territory/account plans aligned with customer priorities
* Lead customer conversations around data modernization, analytics strategy, and AI adoption
* Collaborate with Microsoft account teams, solution architects, and partners to co-sell and deliver value
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including RFP responses and contract negotiation
* Stay current on Microsoft's evolving security offerings and industry trends
Qualifications:
* 5+ years in enterprise technology sales, preferably in cybersecurity or cloud security
* Experience with Azure cloud.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and compliance requirements
* Must have knowledge of Microsoft's Security stack and Zero Trust architecture
* Proven success in consultative selling to CISOs, security architects, and compliance leaders
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working with Microsoft field teams or partner ecosystem is a plus
