Overview: Business Analysts support the operations they are aligned with by providing reporting, interpretation and data-based recommendations to business leaders. Responsibilities: * Develops reports and analyzes for data accuracy. Analyzes root quality issues and makes recommendations to more senior staff for resolution * Designs reports analyzing data from one or multiple systems to key specifications of more senior staff and business stakeholders * Provides analysis on business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers * Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences * May be responsible for data governance processes and quality in assigned area of responsibility Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree * 0-2 years experience * Can synthesize complex data into themes, stories and recommendations * Beginner systems knowledge in assigned functional area * Microsoft Excel - intermediate skills * Microsoft PowerPoint - beginner to intermediate * Presentation skills - basic skills required. Some formal training in public speaking/presentation skills preferred
