Overview:
Enterprise Holdings, operating Alamo Rent a Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental, has an immediate opening for an experienced Building Maintenance Technician located at the Upstate New York Administrative headquarters in Rochester, NY!
This Building Maintenance Technician will work with the Group Property Development and Facility team to improve the appearance and safety of all of our locations through regular repairs, preventive maintenance, cleaning, and assisting with branch renovations/relocations. This position may require work in grounds-keeping, painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, telecommunications, data and phone wiring, signs and lighting, or other maintenance tasks as assigned. The individual will be expected to perform all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.
A company vehicle is supplied for transportation and storage of tools, equipment and materials. Travel is required throughout the market territory spanning Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse.
This is a full time position (40 hours per week) working Monday - Friday, and also includes paid vacation, outstanding benefits, 401k and profit sharing!

Responsibilities:
The Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services including but not limited to:
* Electrical, plumbing, painting, glass, locks, doors, IT, HVAC, furniture, landscaping, etc.
* General office repairs and services
* Moving items as needed (furniture, file cabinets, boxes, etc.)
* Delivery of office and building supplies to the correct departments and locations
* Basic Safety Data Sheets knowledge and Health and Safety knowledge
* Small appliance and equipment installation (pressure washers, air compressors, etc.)
* Scheduling, monitoring and performing general and preventative maintenance of pressure washers, vacuum systems, and miscellaneous equipment at the branches
* Assist on branch relocations and other special projects as directed by the PDF Department
* Responsible for the timely completion of all assigned facility work order requests
* Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times with all company employees, vendors and contractors
* Exhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform requirements
* Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
* Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
* Must be at least 18 years old
* High school diploma or GED required
* 3+ years relevant experience. Relevant experience defined as:
* Trade experience: carpentry, drywall, electrical and/or plumbing
* Hands on general building/facilities maintenance experience
* Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems, plumbing and electrical systems
* Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office products
* Able to lift and carry 50 lbs, climb a ladder up to 10 ft. and operate various power tools
* Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
* No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years (ie. DUI/DWI)
* Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
