Overview: Immediate Hiring Need for a Controls Technician Are you a skilled technician experienced in preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of control systems? Responsibilities * Troubleshoot control system and complete repairs * Diagnose and repair complex control system malfunctions, utilizing extensive knowledge of various electronic or digital control systems * Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials, network layouts, and electrical schematics * Propose field retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment * Write modifications in multiple languages of systems software * Load and commission system and network-level controllers * Validate complete system functionality and troubleshoot issues with subcontractors and other trades * Consult with customers through data analysis and site assessments * Assist sales by offering technical recommendations for leads * Document field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections * Train customers in control system operations Qualifications * Minimum of two (2) years of experience in comfort building automation * Experience installing and servicing control systems on HVAC equipment * Effective communication skills * Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people * Effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications * Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems * Not Required But Our Ideal Candidate Would Have: * Experience in HVAC systems programming Benefits: * Competitive Starting Pay * Paid Training * Global Advancement Opportunities * Company Vehicle * Medical/Dental/Vision insurance * Health Savings Account (HSA) * Life Insurance * 401(k) savings plan with company match * Short-Term and Long-Term Disability ***Veterans Are Encouraged to Apply***
