Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a full-time Bridge Project Manager position in Western, NY!

The Northeast Bridges & Structures group at Colliers Engineering & Design is a highly skilled team of professionals conducting business across New York and into the New England region. We provide a full range of structural engineering services from scoping, planning, preliminary through final design and construction for highway, pedestrian, rail bridge and culvert projects in addition to contractor engineering services.
This position is listed in the state of New York, with the expectation of all interested candidates working out of our Buffalo, Rochester, Binghamton, Newburgh or Albany, NY offices!
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the success of the projects under his/her management.
* Handle all aspects for a project from identification, pursuit, contracting, design development and construction phase support.
* Provide leadership and mentoring to individuals.
* Plan, organize, and supervise the work and workload of project staff.
* Monitor project costs to ensure that project is delivered within budget, fulfills customer expectations for schedule and quality, and/or aligns with the company strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering.
* Minimum of 10 years' experience of AASHTO compliant bridge design/management experience.
* Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in NY or be able to be licensed in NY.
* An established business network with New York State bridge owners such as NYSDOT, NYS Thruway Authority, Municipal clients and contractors.
* Prior experience and understanding of AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and the Federal-Aid project delivery process.
* Proven ability to manage bridge projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams meeting schedule, budget and quality.
* Proven ability to identify, pursue, and win work.
* Ability to work remotely with team members in other offices.
* Familiarity with construction engineering, AREMA based rail bridge design, and/or design build procurement a plus.
* Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Compensation: $102,000 to $166,800 per year (depending on qualifications)
