Overview:
To create delicious meals that our diverse students will enjoy.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to work on time as scheduled, signs the posted timesheet, and remains on the job until dismissed by the site manager.
- Assists with food preparation for meals.
- Prepares, serves, and accounts for meals in a timely and efficient manner.
- Cleans kitchen equipment and work areas, including the floor, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Sets up the serving line and serves meals in accordance with portion sizes.
- Unpacks supplies and assists with stocking dry storage shelves and/or refrigerator shelves.
- Washes dishes, trays, flatware, pots, pans, utensils, and dining tables.
- Maintains a clean work environment, including the cleanliness of equipment, work areas, flooring, and break areas.
- Completes all other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Able to accept instruction and work effectively in a team environment.
- Able to communicate effectively with peers, staff, and supervisors.
- Capable of continuous standing and performing moderate physical work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required for tasks.
- Reliable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
