For over 50 years -- The Glenholme School, part of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, has provided a comprehensive residential program and services for children with learning differences and special needs. Located in picturesque Washington, CT the BCBA position will be part of a cohesive, passionate and dynamic team. The selected candidate will foster Devereux's mission and values of quality care as well as providing top-notch and individualized therapeutic care for our students.

Position:

We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has experience with the student population and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with learning differences and mental health/behavioral challenges. If this describes you, then look no further!

Schedule:

* Monday - Friday: 9am-5pm
* Weekend on-call rotation

Primary Responsibilities Include:

* Consult with Social Workers on the application of Applied Behavior Analysis for the home environments of our students.
* Formulate, evaluate and revise behavior treatment plans.
* Manage database to track behavior treatment data.
* Analyze data and make recommendations regarding the behavior program.  
* Communicate with parents and/or agencies via telephone or in-person conferences to discuss students' progress and challenges in behavior and treatment. 
* Prepare and present relevant graphs, charts, and other representations of behavior treatment data in a timely manner. 
* Participate extensively in Treatment Integrity Review, PPT, and other meetings related to treatment progress. 
* Maintain availability to students and staff for crisis intervention, emergency consultations and solution of non-routine problems.
* Attend Behavior Team Meeting weekly.
* Monitor individual and aggregate data on response to treatment; identify non-responders, recommend changes to treatment plans and evaluate progress.
* Guide staff in establishing a milieu treatment environment conducive to developing more socially appropriate behaviors for students.
* Develop and implement in-service training sessions on PBIS philosophy and the behavior program.
* Assist with the development and monitoring of individualized student contracts and behavior interventions.
* Ensure confidentiality regarding student information.
* Maintain high standards of personal, professional and ethical behavior.
* Assume all duties, special assignments and projects as required by Executive Administration.

Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree in psychology, special education or related field.   Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) required.

Experience: Must have strong applied behavior analysis skills and significant experience working with children/adolescents/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders. Significant experience writing Positive Behavior support plans and conducting FBAs, and training staff also required.  Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.  Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications.  Valid driver's license must be maintained.
