Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:
* Paid dealer school is designed to teach and train aspiring table games dealers in entry level courses such as blackjack and carnival games.
* Maintains a positive attitude at all times while adhering to all company and departmental policies and procedures and state regulations as relates to this position.
* Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with their fellow peers in training, respective course instructors and supervisors, and all departmental and company leaders for River City Casino & Hotel.
* Follows game procedures and trainings when dealing Blackjack, Carnival Games, Craps, Roulette, Poker, Baccarat, and any other form or variation of table games.
* Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
* Responsible for attending all classes of dealer training and adhering to daily attendance requirements.
* Successful pass of dealing school and must be able to successfully complete a Table Games audition displaying adequate Table Games dealing skills.
Qualifications:
* Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
* Ability to work any shift or hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
* Ability to attend dealer school to learn policies and procedures of the games.
* Must be able to pass basic math test during interview.
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Must have strong verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
* Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
* Highly organized and detail oriented.
* Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to figure payoffs.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
