Responsibilities:

Provide overall administration and compliance of various associate benefit programs, primarily by providing phone and online support. Assist the benefits team in administering programs and information regarding the organization's benefits offerings.

* Answers various benefit-related questions from associates via a helpline phone queue and ServiceNow, an online ticketing system. Assists in resolving employee questions regarding the benefit programs.
* Updates the benefit enrollment platform and PeopleSoft to document benefit enrollment actions and to provide information to payroll.
* Maintains and processes records and documents necessary for implementing and/or cancelling benefit coverage.
* Examines employee records and provides information to authorized persons. Ensures confidentiality of records and adheres to established record keeping and retention guidelines.
* Understands plan coverage provisions and can apply them to individual employee situations.
* Assists with the administration of the PTO program. Monitors PTO system to ensure accuracy. Processes PTO donations. Notifies payroll of adjustments.
* Processes benefit carrier invoices, life insurance claims and court orders.
* Assists in administration of benefit billings for part-time employees or those on leave of absence.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred. Minimum of one year of human resources or benefits experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills
Has a working knowledge of a skill or discipline that requires basic analytic ability. Has an overall understanding of the work environment and process. Has working knowledge of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
