Benefits Analyst
The Benefits Analyst supports the design, administration, analysis, and ongoing optimization of employee benefit programs. This role partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, vendors, and consultants to ensure benefit programs are competitive, compliant, cost‑effective, and aligned with organizational strategy. The analyst plays a key role in benefits data analysis, vendor coordination, compliance activities, and teammate support.

Responsibilities:

The Company services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics, and home centers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.
Responsibilities
* Manage financial aspects of health and welfare, retirement, leave, and wellness programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and spending account plans
* Partner with benefits consultants to develop and maintain dashboards related to benefits accounting and financial metrics
* Support audits, nondiscrimination testing, and required regulatory filings
* Maintain benefits data integrity across human resources information systems, payroll, and vendor platforms
* Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve the teammate benefits experience
Qualifications
* Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree
* Experience Requirements: 4-6 years experience in relevant field
* Travel requirement: No travel requirements
Supervisor Responsibility
Direct Reports: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports
Indirect Reports: Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Required Knowledge and Skills
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to analyze complex benefits data, cost trends, and vendor reports
* Proficiency with human resources information systems and benefits administration platforms
* Experience with benefit audits, compliance activities, and data validation processes
* Project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
