Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:
The Bellperson assists guests in transporting luggage to and from guest rooms, coordinates guests' needs, requests and inquiries. Essential Functions - Greet guests and escort them to their rooms when needed - Handles luggage for guests upon arrival or departure - Transports luggage between lobby and guest rooms - Receive and mark baggage by completing and attaching claim checks - Assist physically challenged guests with special needs - Maintain presentable entrances - Assist the Front Desk in delivering quick and efficient service to hotel guests - Maintain constant communication with transportation, front desk, and messaging/PBX team members - Assist guest with general questions about the rooms or other points of interests - Comply with all health and safety standards - Attend meetings as scheduled - Other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Good verbal communication & listening skills - Knowledge of telecommunications systems - Knowledge of relevant equipment and ability to move people and goods - Great guest service skills - Trustworthy and have the ability to take care with people & protect property - Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures - Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with team members and guests - Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English - Ability to perform intermediate math
