Responsibilities:
* Provide individual psychotherapy to patients with neurological conditions, with a focus on the
* Parkinson's disease population, addressing emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial needs.
* Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to
* support patients and their families.
* Facilitate group therapy sessions tailored to support neurological condition-specific patient
* populations, fostering community and emotional resilience.
* Develop and implement community outreach programs to raise awareness, educate the public, and
* build support for neurological conditions, particularly Parkinson's disease.
* Collaborate with patient advocacy councils to align services with patient needs and enhance
* community support networks.
* Prepare and submit grant applications to secure funding from the Parkinsons Council in order to
* supplement funding
* Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive
* care and effective communication.
