Responsibilities:

As our Behavioral Health Clinic RN you will help by being an integral part of a collaborative team, partnering with physicians and nurse practitioners to deliver high-quality, holistic care for our Behavioral Health patients. 

Every day you will provide essential care within our supportive Behavioral Health department.Your day will be filled with opportunities to educate, support, and advocate for our patients, helping them navigate their behavioral health journey with dignity and respect. 

To be successful in this role, you must apply the nursing process to develop and execute personalized care plans that promote positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

* Serve as an educator and resource for patients, families, and colleagues, sharing vital health information in an understandable and compassionate way
* Perform thorough vital sign assessments, comprehensive nursing assessments, and accurate medication reconciliations
* Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with clinical duties and ensure smooth medication refill processes
* Maintain precise and timely patient records, contributing to a seamless care continuum

We are offering a $20,000 sign on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements

Qualifications:

Required

* A nursing degree from an accredited program
* An active and valid RN license in North Dakota
*  CPR (BLS) certification current upon hire OR to be completed within 14 days of hire

Preferred

* A minimum of one year of hospital or clinical nursing experience is preferred, with a strong interest or background in psychiatry/behavioral health being a plus
* Solid basic clinical skills, the ability to remain calm and effective in various situations, and a commitment to completing nonviolent crisis intervention training within six months
* Excellent communication skills, a knack for building positive relationships, and a deep respect for patient confidentiality
