Overview:
**This position will be physically located in Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP**
The Behavior Health Administrator-EAP provides confidential counseling, consultation, and support services to employees and their families to improve mental health, well-being, and work performance. Responsibilities include assessing employee needs, providing short-term counseling, referring to specialized care when needed, and supporting organizational health and resilience initiatives.
Responsibilities:

* Provide confidential counseling and mental health support to employees and families.
* Assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and provide short-term interventions.
* Offer crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and stress management services.
* Refer employees to specialized care or higher-level mental health services as needed.
* Provide consultation to supervisors and leadership on workplace wellness, performance, and employee support.
* Conduct workshops, training, or briefings on mental health, resilience, and stress management.
* Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with regulatory, ethical, and organizational guidelines.
* Support organizational initiatives for workplace well-being, morale, and productivity.
* Coordinate care with medical, mental health, and human resource teams as needed.
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
* Education:
* Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or related field
* Experience:
* Minimum 3 years in employee counseling, behavioral health, or EAP services
* Licensure:
* Current, unrestricted professional license (counselor, social worker, psychologist, or equivalent)
* Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Child Care National Agency Check (CNACI) clearance requiring US Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
* Certification:
* CEAP or equivalent preferred; BCLS preferred
* Public Health Requirements
* Up-to-date immunizations (Hep A & B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza)
* Negative TB screening or chest X-ray if required
* Physical health certification with physician verification
* Skills:
* Expertise in counseling techniques, behavioral health interventions, and employee assistance principles.
* Knowledge of workplace mental health, conflict resolution, and crisis management.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
* Proficiency in electronic record keeping and reporting systems.
* Ability to operate in deployed, austere, or resource-limited environments.
* Working Conditions:
* None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.)
* Physical Requirements:
* Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
* Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
* Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
* Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
