				Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Base Operations Infrastructure Support (CE Operations) Lead to oversee and manage all facets of Base Operations and Civil Engineering support at Ascension Auxiliary Airfield (AAAF). This position is responsible for coordinating the daily and strategic operations supporting the infrastructure services outlined in Appendices W through AG of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The CE Operations Lead will supervise a diverse team of technical professionals, ensuring the timely and quality execution of all contractual requirements including facilities maintenance, engineering, utilities, and environmental compliance.

The successful candidate will provide leadership, personnel management, and quality assurance for work across multiple sub-disciplines including mechanical, electrical, civil, environmental, and operations engineering. The CE Operations Lead must be available, either physically or remotely, to respond to emergencies related to Base Operation Infrastructure Support.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and coordinate the execution of tasks across the full spectrum of Base Operations Infrastructure Support (Appendices W-AG), including but not limited to facilities engineering, maintenance, power generation and distribution, HVAC, water and wastewater systems, and airfield infrastructure.
* Supervise, direct, and schedule the daily activities of CE support personnel, ensuring mission readiness and compliance with contract performance standards.
* Implement and maintain an effective Quality Control Plan (QCP) to verify that all work meets or exceeds the standards outlined in the PWS.
* Ensure consistent compliance with environmental, safety, and security regulations while conducting operations and maintenance of all base infrastructure systems.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for CE Operations at AAAF, coordinating with government representatives, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance for planning, design reviews, engineering evaluations, and troubleshooting infrastructure systems.
* Maintain system documentation, develop reports, and support audits, inspections, and briefings as required.
* Remain available for emergency support and after-hours response, whether on-site or remotely.

Qualifications:

Education Requirement:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field is required.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Associate degree with additional years of relevant experience) may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Required Qualifications:

* U.S. Nationality (USN) required.
* Minimum of six (6) years of experience relevant to the duties described, including Base Operations, infrastructure support, or civil engineering.
* At least four (4) years of experience in a supervisory role, managing technical staff across multiple disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior experience in austere, remote, or overseas military installations.
* Familiarity with U.S. Air Force or DoD base operations standards and environmental requirements.
* Knowledge of international codes, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), and environmental safety standards.

Skills

* Proven ability to manage work scheduling, resource allocation, and performance oversight across diverse infrastructure systems.
* Demonstrated experience with contract compliance, work planning, and customer interfacing in a base support or military environment.
* Proficiency in interpreting and executing contractual requirements, technical manuals, engineering plans, and facility operations procedures.

Work Conditions:

* Position is unaccompanied and located on Ascension Island with company-provided housing.
* Must be capable of working in an isolated environment with limited resources.
* Position requires availability during non-standard hours and emergency conditions.
