Responsibilities: * To properly set-up and maintain a clean efficient bar throughout the shift. * Knowledge of fine dining/ upscale service. * Have knowledge of all wines, spirits and beer. * Must have knowledge of entire food menu. * Must have experience selling and presenting wine * Must have strong sales and communications skills * Ability to operate Micros. * Professionally approach and greet guests. * Ability to multi-task. * Maintain clean and clear service areas. * Professional appearance. * Completes other duties as assigned by management. * Set tables according to type of event and service standards * Take orders and answer questions/offer suggestions on menu selections * Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests * Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order * Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage * Present accurate check to guest and process payment * Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day * Clean and set up tables * Complete closing duties Qualifications: * Must be minimum 21 years of age to serve alcohol. * High school diploma or equivalent.. * Two years bartending experience. * Extensive wine and beverage knowledge. * Outgoing personality. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to obtain alcohol TIPS certification and ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
