Responsibilities:

Your daily responsibilities include:

Bartenders are responsible for learning drink recipes, fostering a fun environment, being gracious hosts to all guests and co-workers while providing assistance within their assigned venue as directed by management.

70% Guest Service

* Prepares and pours drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipes, communicates well with other team members, and presents drinks to guests or team members as required.
* Provides fast, friendly, professional service to guests, using their names, and team members. (e.g., 2 minute or less production cycle for 15 drink tray)
* Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events as requested.
* Maintains a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
* Team player that serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appears in publicity photos.
* Resolves service problems and monitors guest consumption of alcohol using guidelines provided in TiPS alcohol awareness training and notifies management as needed according to guidelines.

20% Property Knowledge

* Operates a cash register/Micros POS System, ringing proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change; accounts for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
* Bartenders are knowledgeable about property events and programs informing guests as needed.
* Maintains knowledge of beverage program, venue offerings, pricing, etc. to provide consistent service.

10% Other

* Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures.
* Preps for shifts using guidance of prep lists and management direction as required.
* Any job duty needed to promote productivity in the efficient administration of business, or any reasonable request made by your supervisor or management personnel

Qualifications:

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:

* Must be 21 years of age.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Read, write legibly, understand, and speak English.
* Excellent customer service/communication skills.
* Count money and change correctly.
* Knows cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques.
* Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, etc. as needed.
* Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
* Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation.
* Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
* Able to work in constricting areas.
* Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights.
* Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
* Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
