Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:
This position will provide friendly, courteous beverage service and beverage preparation in accordance with standard procedures.   Essential Functions   - Prepare beverages in accordance with established procedures. - Follow proper cash control procedures. - Practice proper par stock ordering procedures. - Maintain current knowledge of all policies and procedures concerning service of all alcoholic beverages. - Responsible for set-up and cleaning of bar area. - Monitor and assist in training Barbacks. - Maintain knowledge of current hotel activities, beverage outlets and operations. - Comply with all health and safety standards. - Attend meetings as scheduled. - Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have knowledge of relevant of bartending procedures (drink recipes, etc.); Great good people skills required including effective communication; Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff; ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.  Ability to perform basic math; ability to handle money and make correct change; ability to understand and comply with all departmental and Company rules, regulations, Policies and procedures; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and management.
