Overview: Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is seeking a guest-focused on call Bartender to join the team of this upscale hotel in the lobby bar. Basin Bar is the perfect place for guests to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or close-out the evening with a selection of local craft beers and expertly crafted cocktails. This team member will be responsible for providing efficient friendly customer service at all times and to maintain a clean, professional top quality bar. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel! Responsibilities: * Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes. * Familiarity with the wine list and the stemware and appropriate garnishes used. * Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartenders manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros. * Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow sidework sheet. * Monitor inventory. * Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails * Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws. * Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Two years bartending experience required. * Extensive wine knowledge strongly desired. * One-year restaurant experience required. * Pleasant personality and the ability to relate and connect with guests required. * Excellent communication skills required. * State Alcohol certification and Food Handler certification required. * Must live within 50 miles of the hotel.
