				Overview:

* Learn and focus on the cafe standards.
* Full knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.
* Review any changes to menu and/or specials.
* Greet guests.
* Bus tables as necessary as well as cleaning the Lobby area. Make sure guest are not leaving dirty cups or empty bottles.
* Independent cashier.
* Prepare and/or delivers guest's beverage order.
* Promptly deliver guest's food and beverage order ensuring quality and accuracy.
* Attend to guest during their entire experience.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of cafe area.
* Complete all required side work.
* May be required to be responsible to work with cash and turn in balanced.
* Follow all safety policies and procedures.
* Maintain appearance standards as outlined in the employee handbook.
* Provide information and explain all marketing promotions.
* Provide courteous service and be cordial to all team members and guests.
* Effectively communicate orally and in writing.
* Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
* Comply with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
* Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
* Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
* Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
* Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest and operational needs.
* Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
* Must be able to multi task and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
* Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
* Must be able to cross-train in other areas of the hotel.
* Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
* Attend all required hotel meetings and trainings.
* Other duties as directed by management.

Qualifications:

Physical & Mental Demands

*  Must work well under pressure.
*  Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
*  Must be able to lift up to forty pounds on an intermittent basis.
*  Must be able to bend, stoop lift, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.
*  Must be able to speak, hear and see.

Working Conditions & Environment

*  Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.

Minimum Job Requirements

*  Must be at least 18 years of age.
*  Excellent oral communications skills.
*  Excellent hygiene habits.
*  Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
*  Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
