Responsibilities include: 

This position works directly with and addresses the needs of the Bartender, to insure complete guest satisfaction while maintaining a clean, organized and well-stocked bar.  

* Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
* Responsible for maintaining assigned area and backing up the bartender to assure guest service.
* Maintains a well-stocked and fully prepared bar and stocking functions for the dry goods and liquor rooms
* Maintains the cleanliness and organization of assigned area.
* Performs routine cleaning and day-to-day maintenance of all bar equipment.
* Requires a working knowledge of various cleaning supplies and chemicals, including safe handling, storage, and usage requirements.
* Become knowledgeable of all drink recipes and proper glass to use for each drink.
* Always conduct yourself in a manner that reflects a positive, professional image for Ameristar Casino Black Hawk.
* Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do so.
* Keep bar completely stocked for next shift.
* Must learn to act without supervisor but informing the bartender on duty of any problems.
* Become knowledgeable of the operation of the cash and comp procedures; blenders, strainers, coffee makers, glass washers and coolers..
* Have and keep updated all current work cards: TIPS Training.
* Responsible for learning the operation of liquor, soda and juice guns.

Qualifications:

* Able to communicate sufficiently with co-workers and supervisors.
* Must be able to handle a flexible schedule.
* Customer service skills.
* Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
* Able to lift fifty (50) pounds.
* Experience in bar environment preferred
* MUST be able to obtain/maintain Colorado Support Gaming license :  https://sbg.colorado.gov/gaming-support-license
