Overview: The Barback is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper stock behind the bar, as well as ensuring the best-in-class guest experience. They are also responsible for assisting the Bar staff in keeping the bar organized for an efficient flow of service throughout their shift. Responsibilities: * Request, pick, verify and put away all requisitions for liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks and food items used for the bar areas. * Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments. * Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar. * Ensure that all side opening and closing duties are completed. * Adopt a positive approach in dealing with guests problems and issues to ensure guest satisfaction. * Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to ensure compliance with regulations. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. * Attend to customer needs with a friendly and professional attitude. * Operate and maintain bar equipment and tools. * Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications: * One year of previous experience in a similar role * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Evening shift availability. * Adequate communication skills: must be able to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers * Patient in dealing with guersts.
