				Overview:

The Bar Manager is responsible for ensuring proper training and supervision of all personnel. The Bar Manager is to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the day-to-day operation for all restaurant functions, to include efficient and effective running of all events ensuring operating costs are minimized.
* Supervise and coordinate assigned shift.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation awareness standards. Prepare daily for health department and Ecosure inspections.
* Examine food preparation and beverage presentation.
* Maintain condition of dining room, lobby lounge, morsels, mini bar, and room service.
* Assist manager in; scheduling, completing weekly payroll, and forecasting both weekly and monthly.
* Ensures prompt delivery and quality control from point of departure to arrival
* Conduct/attend all required department trainings and meetings.
* Perform any other duties required by management

Qualifications:

* 2 years of experience in Food and Beverage Supervision or Management role preferred.
* Must have the ability to manage deadlines.
* Understanding of Food and Beverage financials including cost and par controls is preferred.
* General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Union environment experience preferred.
* Must possess the ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations. 
* Must be Food Handler and TIPS certified.
* Ability to always maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure.
