As a Banquet Server, you will: Shift: On-Call Pay: $6.15 per hour + tips (Avg $22 to $24 per hour) Responsibilities: * Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, restaurant staff, and culinary production team. * Takes food and beverage orders, delivers prepared food promptly, and checks with table periodically to ensure guest satisfaction. * Maintains current and accurate information regarding menu (i.e., preparation techniques, seasonings, ingredients, and plate presentation). * Suggests items to guests based on expressed guest preferences. * Resolves service issues according to established guidelines. * Assists bus persons, as necessary, in bussing, cleaning, and setting tables. * Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards. * Deep cleans restaurant equipment (tables, chairs, booths, soda and juice dispensers, coffee machines), as scheduled, or required. * Operates and maintains equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures. * Completes assigned side work as directed. * Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent, with previous food server experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred. * Knowledge of wine service, table service procedures, and table etiquette strongly preferred. * Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. - Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. * Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to follow all departmental and property policies and procedures. * Must be able and willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate. * Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments.
