Overview:
This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote.
Responsible for the handling and monitoring residential, consumer, car loans/leasing, secure and unsecure accounts through the bankruptcy process. Requires knowledge of CFPB mortgage servicing rules, all investor and Government Sponsored Enterprise guidelines. Allocate and processes all bankruptcy payments daily to ensure accurate bankruptcy billing statements for borrowers.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor the entire bankruptcy process. Prepare proof of claims and ensure accuracy and timely filing with the bankruptcy courts. Prepare motion for relief for delinquent accounts, if applicable. Review and process bankruptcy payments daily.
* Ensure CFPB mortgage servicing rules, investor and GSE guidelines are adhered to at all times.
* Process daily bankruptcy notification from Pacer through the Special Assets application to notify the entire corporation of new bankruptcy notices.
* Monitor and track files that are assign to the Bank's outside law firms for accuracy and timely processing of bankruptcy documents.
Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent. Specialty: Does not apply at this level of education. (Required)
Experience
3 or more years Default or collection experience. (Required)
2 or more years bankruptcy experience (Required)
1 or more years experience using Black Knight MSP system (Preferred)
