MARKETING INTERN / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (PART-TIME)
This is a fantastic opportunity for all MBA/JD candidates, or those working toward to their BA in business or marketing to get real world experience. This is a PAID, part-time position that is expected to last approximately 6 months. Our client, a top-rated, national law firm, is looking for a part-time Marketing Intern/Business Development Coordinator to help provide business development and marketing support for their San Francisco Food & Beverage practice group.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*Research each target client firm across each industry vertical, identify the relevant key contact(s), get email address for each contact.
*Develop spreadsheets by industry vertical workbooks with all relevant fields for CRM input.
*Develop modified Excel file with contact names and email addresses for NGT Newsletter distribution list.
*Coordinate attorney participation in upcoming events/conferences.
*Determine open panel/speaking engagements at events and follow up with attorneys to see if any can participate.
*Develop stat reports for newsletter that includes analysis of newsletter effectiveness.
*Maintain/update Food and Beverage mailing list and marketing database.
*Organize weekly networking lunches at Davis Wright Tremaine, San Francisco.Organize monthly Food and Beverage "YPO" lunch meetings.
*Manage referral source follow-up and network.
*Prepare/assemble/dispatch marketing pitches and correspondence.
*Schedule daily client and referral source lunch meetings.
*Organize and maintain Corporate Advisory Board network and resource center.
*Manage referral acknowledgements (Gift Baskets of Food/Bev Client Products).
*Administrative support for events and programs.
*Support Food Business School activities and involvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
*Excellent computer skills including strong proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
*Ability to quickly learn new software programs.
*Strong coordination and organizational abilities.
*Resourcefulness with ability to conduct research and accurately extract information.
*Nice presentation/phone manner to contact client prospect organizations, and referral sources to make logistical arrangements.
*Ability to multi-task.
