Responsibilities:

Above the responsibilities of a BI Developer II, the Dev III will include the following capabilities and responsibilities.

* Possess a mastery of SQL Server and SSRS report development skills. Must be well versed in the current versions of SQL Server. Should be able to quickly adapt to new reporting and data visualization development tools as they are released.
* Must be proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
* Provide code review and assume a mentorship role for Jr developers.
* Dev III will assist in the forward-looking strategy of our BI Operational Reporting team and goals.
* Dev III will take ownership of the report delivery framework and will be responsible for code base modifications.
* Provide a first level of review for incoming Ad-Hoc and project work in order to determine feasibility and provide an initial LOE.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and will be expected to converse directly with end users both internal and external to Incomm.
* Should have a deep understanding of data modeling for rapid report generation.
* Should have a firm understanding of ETL principles. Experience with SSIS and/or Pentaho ETL tools is preferred.
* 6+ years of hands-on experience with report development (SSRS, PowerBI, Crystal, Tableau)
* 6+ years of hands-on coding with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server
* Will work directly with our ETL and Capabilities Dev teams to define and/or develop data marts and semantic data layers for reporting to pull from.
* Assist in managing and maintaining our catalog of reports.
* Practical experience using source code management solution, e.g. TFS, CVS, Subversion

Qualifications:

* Technical Proficiency:

* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
* Strong experience with Power BI for building dashboards and visual reports.
* Proficient in SQL Server, including complex querying, performance tuning, and regression testing.
* Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve data anomalies through investigative analysis.
* Familiarity with Power Automate for workflow automation and process optimization.

* Education & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent professional experience.
