Responsibilities:
SUMMARY
Responsible and accountable for all aspects of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages sales. Ensure consistent quality of products.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
GENERAL
* Responsible for setting up bars.
* Responsible for handling all cash transactions.
* Responsible for all opening and closing inventories of all stock.
* Ensure the safety and security of guest and team members.
* Become knowledgeable of Resorts Casino & Hotel policies and procedures with regards to alcoholic beverages
* Development of strong beverage image in the market place.
* Other duties as assigned.
EQUIPMENT/TECHNICAL
* Use of all bar equipment, cash registers and Micro System.
WORK AREA
* 24/7 high energy casino with a large gaming and entertainment space with multiple beverage/bar outlets. Position will be required to move around to all areas with a sense of urgency.
* Exposed to temperatures that may vary, noise, alcohol, smoke, wet floors, crowds, long lines and bright lights.
Qualifications:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Walking/Standing 55%
* Bending/Lifting 40% (up to 75 lbs.)
* Sitting 5%
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
* Two (2) years of hospitality bar experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
* Ability to work with employees and the public.
* Ability to write read and understand basic instructions.
* Knowledge of all bar equipment, Micro System, ABC laws and regulations and gaming laws. Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol. Knowledge of C02 gauges.
* Ability to do assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to overall beverage operations.
