Responsibilities:
SUMMARY
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to casino guests by taking drink and food orders, expertly mixing and serving alcoholic beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and accurately processing payments. The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume bartending environments, strong mixology knowledge, and excellent communication and guest service skills.
* Provide fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to casino guests and beverage servers in accordance with company standards
* Prepare and pour drink orders using proper portions, ingredients, and presentation according to established recipes
* Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver drinks promptly to guests or servers
* Promote casino events, programs, and featured offerings to guests
* Resolve guest service issues in a courteous and professional manner following established procedures
* Operate the cash register/POS system accurately, including entering correct amounts, issuing proper change, and reconciling transactions
* Account for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales while maintaining the integrity of all financial controls
* Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized workstation in compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
* Monitor guest alcohol consumption and alert management of guests who appear intoxicated, unruly, or disruptive
Qualifications:
* Must be 21 years of age
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* At least 2 to 3 years of high-volume experience required
* Food Handlers & Bassett Certification required
* Prior bartending experience required; casino or high-volume cocktail bar experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and martini service
* Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
* Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
