Responsibilities:
Summary
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service during banquet and event functions. This role ensures proper event setup, professional guest interaction, timely service execution, and post-event breakdown in accordance with company standards.

* Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all guests.

* Set up banquet rooms according to event orders (BEOs), including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, staging, and décor.

* Serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards.

* Maintain knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, and beverage offerings.

* Ensure proper handling of food in compliance with health and safety standards.

* Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests.

* Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown.

* Clear tables efficiently and reset as needed.

* Maintain cleanliness of banquet areas before, during, and after events.

* Break down rooms and properly store equipment following events.

* Work collaboratively with culinary, beverage, and event staff to ensure seamless service.

* Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and alcohol service guidelines.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.

* Must obtain and maintain any required gaming license (if applicable).

* Food Handler and/or BASSET certification (as required by state/local law).

* Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

* Standing and walking for long periods.

* Lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling banquet equipment.

* Exposure to varying noise levels and crowded environments.

* Ability to lift and carry up to 30-50 pounds.
