The role:
We are hiring a Azure Architect Engineer to join our Microsoft Center of Excellence. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, standardization, and global delivery enablement-ensuring scalable, high-quality Azure solutions across regions.
You will work on complex customer engagements, while also shaping global Azure offerings, standards, and reusable assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver end-to-end Azure solutions (design, build, migration, validation, handover)
* Design secure, scalable, and highly available architectures (including HA/DR)
* Build and maintain global assets (landing zones, templates, IaC, playbooks)
* Support cloud migrations (Azure Migrate, cutover planning, execution)
* Enable regional teams via guidance, knowledge transfer, and pre-sales support
* Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of Azure engineering experience in Core skills below.
* Strong experience in cloud migrations and enterprise-scale environments
* Ability to design, standardize, and scale solutions globally
* Strong stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills

* Infra: Compute, Storage, Networking
* Security: Defender, Firewall, Key Vault, Sentinel
* DBA: Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL/MySQL

* Monitoring & DR: Azure Monitor, Backup, Site Recovery
* Migration & Cost: Azure Migrate, FinOps basics
* Scripting: PowerShell, Azure CLI
Certifications (Preferred)
* AZ-104, AZ-305
* AZ-500 / Terraform Associate (nice to have)
