				Overview:

* Able to comfortably lift 60 lbs. routinely with or without a reasonable accommodation

Experience/Training must meet one of the following:

* Graduated from an accredited avionics school
* Military training in avionics or electronics
* Associate degree or higher in electronics
* Eighteen months experience in the avionics industry
* A&P certification with previous avionics experience
* This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position

Must hold an FCC GROL license. If an FCC GROL license is not held at time of employment, it must be obtained within six months from hire date.

This position will require the selected candidate to travel outside the station for training, in addition to the completion of their new-hire onboarding.

Responsibilities:

* 18 years of age or older
* Have a High School Diploma or GED
* Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license and meet insurability requirements 
* Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
* Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
* A&P certificate preferred
* Familiar with and able to read and understand company, manufacturer, and wire diagram manuals, to include schematics
* Possess basic avionics skills
* Work history of being a self-starter, working well in a team environment, ability to effectively use aircraft manuals to troubleshoot and repair aircraft avionics and electrical systems
* Have a minimum toolbox
* Problem-solving and organizational skills are required
* Willing to work nights and holidays
* Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety

Qualifications:

* Effectively troubleshoot all aircraft systems
* Responsible for making timely, critical decisions that ensure the safety of the aircraft 
* Responsible for proficiency in all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork
* In a hangar environment, technicians perform avionics inspections, routine maintenance such as FOQA downloads, and system troubleshooting 
* In a shop environment, technicians conduct component testing, troubleshooting, and repairs, and may also be required to work on aircraft systems
* Other duties as assigned
