Overview:
Novant Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer to work in a secondary school setting. Primary responsibilities will be at an area high schools with cross-coverage as needed throughout Novant Health facilities and on-site athletic training coverage at sporting events.
Evaluates, plans, directs, documents, and administers programs of athletic training and rehabilitation. Performs supervisory duties and participates in continuing education. Works closely with other disciplines and specialties within the department and facility. Communicates with physician, referral sources, and other clinical staff and coordinates athlete's schedule, treatment programs, discharge planning, and recommends solutions to athlete care problems.

Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's Degree Required. Master's Degree Preferred. Graduate from accredited athletic training program required.
* Experience: Two years experience. Preferred.
* Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current AT licensure in appropriate state required. Pass NATA BOC exam required.
* Additional Skills Required: Excellent Customer Service, Written and Oral Communication, basic computer application skills, and
* ability to multitask. Hold or ability to hold appropriate state licensure. Hold or ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.
* Additional Skills Preferred: Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, CES national certification(s).
