Responsible for direct patient contact primarily for the evaluation and treatment of medical and musculoskeletal pathology consistent with the scope and practice of athletic training clinical competencies as defined by the BOC and state practice acts. Job settings can include health care clinics, secondary schools, youth sports clubs, collegiate athletics, and/or professional clubs.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Bachelor Degree Required
2 Years of athletic training experience.
Must be willing and able to travel and work irregular hours.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population
including but not limited to, athletes, coaches, administrative staff, physicians, volunteers and other
medical personnel.
Relevant job setting experience preferred.
Athletic Trainer Certified
Athletic Trainer Registration/Licensure to be obtained prior to start of athletic coverage.
BLS
Current driver's license
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
This full-time, Monday through Friday position will cover our local high school's athletics and is qualified for all benefits. As part of our growing program, we will also have some shifts that cover our outpatient physical therapy clinic at Holy Cross Hospital in Jordan Valley during the summer and school breaks.
