We're hiring an Associate Vice President (AVP) Development in the Arlington/Denton, TX area. The Associate Vice President for Arlington and Denton is responsible for leading a $1M new business development initiative in year one. The AVP will grow and implement a strategic plan that aligns with the goals and objectives of the Southwest region. Key responsibilities include building strategic partnerships with community organizations, expanding company engagement across Arlington and Denton, and developing a robust pipeline for individual giving. This is an office-based position that offers a hybrid schedule. The office is located in Fort Worth.

We have a fast-paced sales type of environment with the main responsibility of driving revenue in support of our mission. We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Business Development:

* Lead all aspects of the development and execution of a $1M new business initiative in year one.
* Create and implement a strategic plan that aligns with the Southwest region's goals and objectives.
* Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with community organizations to support the organization's mission and objectives.
* Drive company engagement and visibility throughout Arlington and Denton.

Fundraising & Community Engagement:

* Develop a pipeline for individual giving, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
* Create a "Nation of Lifesavers" business plan aimed at achieving 30% penetration in CPR training within the first year by establishing a CPR Council.
* Lead the growth and development of Cycle Nation as a core community event, focusing on sponsorships and participant income.
* Recruit and develop an Executive Leadership team and chair from Arlington, targeting a 20% year-over-year growth in Cycle Nation during the first year.
* Develop and execute the Denton Issue-Based Dinner Series, with a goal of raising up to $250,000 in the first year.

Program Development & Oversight:

* Design and implement business plans that support the organization's mission and regional goals.
* Monitor and evaluate the success of programs, ensuring they meet targeted outcomes and community needs.
* Report regularly to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
* 3 years successful experience in non-profit fundraising or similar experience.
* Experience leading and cultivating high-level leaders at the C-suite level.
* Direct knowledge of special event fundraising tactics is crucial.

* Ability to travel the Arlington and Denton areas daily; always requires access to reliable transportation on an immediate basis.

* Solid understanding of how to engage and work with philanthropic communities.
* Must have basic knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office.
