Overview: Associate Solution Engineer (English Speaking) Location: Remote - Colombia Work Arrangement: Remote About This Role Hyland is looking for a curious and driven Associate Solution Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support the delivery of professional solutions to business stakeholders by translating business process requirements into technical solutions through design, implementation, testing, and training. Working alongside experienced team members, you will gain hands-on exposure to the full solution delivery lifecycle while building strong foundational skills. Here's What You'll Do. * Design, prototype, and build basic business solutions following best practices to meet business needs based on feedback from stakeholders; safeguard the security, integrity, and confidentiality of internal systems and data by following company security protocols. * Test basic business solutions and ensure performance is as designed; work with team members to identify and resolve any issues. * Document basic solutions to allow the support team to effectively assist business customers and ensure easy ongoing maintenance; transition key information to the support team. * Participate in business analysis activities to assist in gathering information about business processes and customer needs from key stakeholders; assist in the documentation and presentation of basic business analysis and solution requirements for validation and approval. * Assist with the migration of business solutions into environments and support stakeholders throughout the migration process with guidance from team members. * Compose training materials and conduct training sessions for end users with guidance from team members; comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy. Role Essentials * Bachelor's degree; strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. * Good oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; fluency in English required. * Collaboration skills applied successfully within a team as well as with other areas; ability to thoroughly investigate situations and ask probing questions to successfully obtain quality information. * Knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server; knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Apex, or Python. * Ability to effectively manage a consistent customer-oriented project workload; proactively communicates project delays to the management team; up to 5% travel time required. Technology Tools * Microsoft SQL Server * C# / Apex / Python * Business Analysis & Documentation Tools * Solution Design & Prototyping Tools What We'd Like to See (Preferred Skills) * Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases in a professional or academic setting. * Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Apex, or Python; familiarity with solution design and development best practices. * Experience participating in business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, process documentation, and stakeholder presentations. * Familiarity with solution migration planning and deployment processes; experience supporting stakeholders through system transitions with minimal disruption. * Experience developing and delivering end-user training materials; ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.
